5 Hobsons beers available "on tap", including Postmans Knock when I was there (4/5 - not as good as the usual bottled version) and of course the Mild (5/5 - such a good beer). Open all day and food (lunch) served until 3pm - May 2010

Banks's pub. Situated down the alleyway next to the Talbot Hotel on Talbot Square. Very tasty drop of Enville Ale - light coloured and refreshing - very drinkable. Food served. Big black fireplace with lots of trophys. Lots of beams. Tel - 01299 270382. Visited Aug 2001.
